A Community at a
Crossroads
Founded between railroads and rich with history, the Town of Shirley balances the feel of a small town with the convenience of its proximity to I-70 and I-69. Although the two major rail lines that created our community are gone, Shirley's unique position in Central Indiana straddling the Hancock and Henry County line remains.
Walk the
Shirley Trail
Walk, run or bike a mile right through the heart of Downtown Shirley. The new Shirley Trail starts in the historical district and connects from the Octagon House to Shirley Park. Find the trail in the Hancock County Trail Guide.
